Any family with a registered Cub Scout (Tiger,Wolf, Bear) is welcome to attend the C.O.W with Mom, Dad, Grandpa or other relative (legal guardian)! COW Event: An abbreviated Pal 'n Me  program with structured time to be your kids. Swimming, Fishing, Canoe Rides, Archery, BB Shooting, a Craft, and some Campfire Magic ". Webelo Scouts are encouraged to attend Weblo Resident camp with their den or pack.

C.O.W. is a chance for an adult partner or parent to experience the fun and adventure of overnight camp with their registered Tiger, Wolf or Bear Cub Scout currently in the first or second grade at beautiful Camp Roosevelt located on the shore of Little Fitts Pond in Eddington, ME.  All activities during the session will be done as a team.  This experience will develop confidence, self-reliance, team-work, fitness, and an appreciation for the outdoors. Teams should arrive no earlier than 1pm of CHeck-In. Check out will be by 11am the next day.

This year’s theme is:   SUPER HEROES

Your stay at Camp Roosevelt will include all meals at our famous Vigue Center & Dining Hall,  overnight accommodations in one of our 4 bunk Adirondacks.  Just bring your sleeping bag and personal gear to enjoy a great outdoor experience.  All this is only $85 per team. For those families that need to bring an additional sibling who is not registerd with a cub scout pack (daughter or very young brother), an additional $18 will be added.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds of camp fees will be considered only if written communication or email is submitted to the Camp Director at Katahdin Area Council office two weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date of camp. Plus a $75 administrative fee will be added for every request. Refunds will be issued for the unused portion (exclusive of deposits & admin Fees) for a Scout who leaves camp for a verifiable reason (medical,conflict of schedule). Homesickness is not considered a refundable medical reason. Camp fees are transferable to another Scout in your unit. This does apply to scouts who are enrolled in a specialty camp or provisional camping program. All refund requests will be considered after September 1, 2012. No refunds can be granted for any reason until after August 31, 2012.
